Modern and post-modern Mystics: continue these esoteric practices with refinements borne out of liberal theological convictions, infused with mystical disciplines arising from other pagan practices:

Hinduism, Buddhism, Jewish Kabbala and Sufism (Islamic Mysticism)

Using caring pastoral language: They pollute biblical interpretation in a manner that is both subtle, and life threatening to all whose eternal life depends on the proclamation of the true Gospel of Christ.

In addition, they produce a high level of introspection that anaesthetise the participants to the erroneous roots of their deception.

They appeal to the weak and vulnerable: Attracting the 'charismatically' inclined, promising greater intimacy and a deeper experience of the presence of God, and the ultimate experience of 'Deification'; through self-generated mystical fusion with the very essence of God.
