Contemplation kundalini

Hindu Contemplation in the 21st Century Church

Hindu Contemplation is a fusion of Hinduism and Roman Catholicism

"Centring Prayer"

It emerged as a consequence of missions from the Franciscans; a Catholic monastic order dedicated to St Francis of Assisi. Representatives were called to Rome in 1971, and given permission by Pope Paul VI to revive the contemplative aspect of the Romanist gospel; in the monasteries and out into the world to the lay people. This call to service activated a mission approach that brought monastic teaching and practice to India. The Franciscans focus on Hinduism, gave birth to Centring PrayerThe main exponents were/ are:

Friars Basil Pennington, William Meninger and Abbot Thomas Keating.

Kundalini is the satanic power invoked through a fusion of Hindu transcendental mediation, and Catholic Monastic meditation, becoming Centring Prayer .

Kundalini Energy - is often defined as the 'power of life', the very life force that operates within the whole cosmos, and bio-energy systems of all creation, including human beings.

Taken to its natural and logical conclusion, Kundalini energy is reputed to be the very essence of God that upholds all that exists. It's at the core of Hinduism, the New Age, and Transcendental Meditation.

Meditative practice - is said to enable the advanced practitioner to tap into their inner source of Kundalini energy, experiencing the full power of their life force. In doing so they bring in to conscious reality a power hither-to unknown to them.

In order to achieve this energy experience, the human conscious and unconscious mind must be emptied of all their contents, so as not to impede the progress of this energy from its awakened source within the human being.

Contemplative Spirituality advanced practitioners, via Centering Prayer, and related mystical meditation, align this energy with the power of God the Holy Spirit (especially Thomas Keating).
