Creation

One of the of the questions of this enlightenment period has been where did the universe come from? Has it always existed? Is it good or evil?

Philosophers and scientist, religious leaders and secular non-believers have all offered up their earth bound worldly wisdom, but none have grasped the answer, nor a true level of understanding of the complexity such an answer requires.

This is not a new question, but one that has a new twist to it, originally this question was answered by God some 3-4,000 years ago, His answer is found in the Old Testament book of Job in chapters 38 - 41...

Creation is God's eternal plan revealed through the Book of Genesis meaning 'in the beginning'...there are many beginnings revealed in Genesis, for example:

  • the beginning of the universe
  • the beginning of man and woman
  • the beginning of man's sin and fall from grace
  • the beginning of God's promises and plans for salvation

It is also a record of relationships:

  • between God and nature
  • between God and mankind, and man and woman

Creation provided an environment whereby God and Man could have fellowship, and where the Nobility of Man could be seen to reflect the Nobility of His Creator...

But, sin and death entered into creation, and into the world via mankind. However, God is faithful to His promises and pledges Himself to redeem the situation...

Is creation good or evil? Scripture reveals to us God's verdict in response to this question... at each and every stage of creation, as one phase after another is completed, God saw that it was good..../
